Each year we like to bring you the best place for Valentine’s Day. Last year we gave a roundup of our favourite places in London for the day of romance, as well as a delicious His and Hers Valentine’s cocktail recipe, but this year we’re bringing you one extra special experience to compliment whatever you have planned…

This Valentine’s Day, one of our favourite luxury hotels in London, Rosewood London, is launching a brand new cocktail in the spectacular Scarfes Bar. The Perfect Encounter (£80) is available from Monday 1st February – 16th February, and is a stunning blend of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, espresso, honey, Lillet Blanc, and Aphrodite Bitters.

Giovanni Spezziga, Bar Manager, is the mastermind behind the exclusive new romantic cocktail for two. Featuring leading luxury blended Scottish whisky Johnnie Walker Blue Label and served in a vintage travellers case this is the ultimate couples cocktail to enjoy this Valentine’s Day.

Commenting on his latest creation, Giovanni Spezziga “It is the perfect winter cocktail. It is elegant and brilliantly reflects the spirit and character of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, without introducing needless complexity. Every encounter in Scarfes Bar is unique, and therefore, perfection is important and the aim at all times.”

Here at AGLAIA we adore Rosewood London, and believe it’s sleek contemporary sophistication combined with the traditional rich features gives it a real high-end boutique feel to it. Scarfes Bar is a fantastic place for a romantic drink, with a roaring fire and live music, it was inspired by the atmosphere of a drawing room and the grandeur of a gentleman’s club, it features a roaring fire, a collection of cosy velvet armchairs and shelves filled with over 1,000 antique books hand-picked by a Portobello antique dealer.

Gerald Scarfe, renowned British artist and caricaturist, has even lent his name and artistic vision to Rosewood London’s Scarfes Bar, where his completed art work adorns the marble walls!
